You may be wondering: Why This Video Test Drive Blog?

The idea of this video test drive blog “VJ Drives Tacoma” was born out of passion for the automotive industry and the love for automobiles. I’d like to show in each of my upcoming posts things about cars SUV’s and Trucks on how a typical driver, family men, soccer mom and/or daily commuter would see a car during a test-drive.

This blog

• will NOT only show you how long the 0-60 mph took [well, may be I will 😉 ]
• will NOT only let you know if I cracked the time record for a 1/4 mile [can’t promise that either 😮 ]
• or how many feet of breaking distance being needed

but foremost will inform you how versatile each of the driven cars and trucks in a daily life can be.

Test Drive Reviews and Props Used

So expect a baby (a.k.a. Max) being put into the rear seats of a 2015 Jeep Renegade, a Teen, my son Eric showing the ease (or not) of getting into a 2-door coupe back-seat like a 2015 Dodge Challenger, or fitting numerous grocery bags into the 2015 Nissan Juke.

All those cars I will drive over time are “borrowed” out of the new car inventory of Tacoma Nissan, FIAT and Alfa Romeo of Tacoma and Tacoma Dodge, including the brands Jeep, Chrysler, Ram and SRT.

Let’s face it: I’m indeed a car nut and possibly being considered car crazy among my peers, especially when they’d learned that I owned so far around 40 cars since 2001.

I hope you’ll like this different approach on how I see nowadays vehicles. An approach which is more likely a daily live, love and drive of our favorite toys – The Automobile.
