Nissan 240Z Restoration Project
For Japanese Car Enthusiasts, the Nissan 240Z is somehow one of the “Must Have” Cars you want to drive and/or to own. The Fast and Furious actor Sung Kang just made this wish a dream come true. Inspired by Hollywood Star Paul Walker, who just left way too early and will be never forgotten, Kang recognized that life is just too short after Walker’s passing. He decided to find a car, resonating with him and what he saw when he grew up. By finding the desired object he decided to buy a dark brown metallic drive-able 240Z from a couple who needed money and decided to sell their vintage 240Z, which had been garaged for the last 13 years.

With his 2-seater GT he went to a California based Z specialist Greddy Motorsport and start restoring it. Below is the first episode of the project start, originally aired on SPEED / Motors On Fox. Compared to the 240Z’s the Nissan 370Z, a lot has changed.
