FCA Features Stars From Tomorrow

FCA across the U.S. embracing Music

No matter where you are, if in Nashville, St. Louis or in the Nevada desert, FCA decided to feature in different video their line-up of cars, trucks and SUVs with new, upcoming singers. FIAT & Chrysler’s Chief Marketing Officer Olivier Francois stated: “Music and the AMAs are part of this  moment where you can build or add some relevance to our message, because there’s nothing less ‘relevant’ than a car commercial—for that, our whole marketing investment will be relatively inefficient“. He further  added… “We want to add relevance, connected tissue—glue that will do something for you, so that even if you’re not in the car market today, you’ll watch the commercial“.

Automotive Sponsorship during AMA

You may have seen Sunday’s American Music Awards (AMA) on ABC. Thanks to FCA and the marketing dollar spent the event was a success, just like the event, sponsored by FCA as well in 2014. To make this automotive sponsorship a true car/music/stars event, FCA partnered up with record labels and music companies such as Warner Music Group, Universal Music Group and Sony Music. The idea behind…taking thier upcoming singer and song writer stars and stitch together a sequence of TV-Commercials. Giving them a million viewers strong fan base and of course displaying their Make and Models appropriately.

The Marketing and Sponsorship Idea is not new

When you think “wow, what a great idea…”, I need to burst the bubble. Already in 2011 Detroit Superstar and Rapper Eminem “Imported From Detroit” the new released and modified Chrysler 200, which has accounted for more than 17,4 million views on YouTube during me writing this little article here. Crazy. Since inception of the powerful trio, Fiat Chrysler and the New Yorker and Californian top music labels accumulated more than 3,3 BILLION views…and the counting does not stop.

An array of Video Clips

Now take a look and see for yourself how the newcomers and superstars from tomorrow are doing their thing and FCA cleverly placing their products Chrysler 200, Dodge Challenger, Dodge Charger, Ram Rebel, the new Fiat 500X and its American cousin the new Jeep Renegade.
